The old adage that the US and the UK are two countries separated by a common language could have as a rider that they are also joined by a common heritage and a shared view of the importance of project management.
some of these elements merge in the centre of Philadelphia at the National Constitution Museum which first opened its doors to the public on 4 July last year.
    As a Brit visiting the Museum as a guest recently, it seemed impolite to mention that an afternnon in the company of the American Constitution was not high on my itinerary, especially as our own constitution, such as it is, would involve a riverside walk on the Thames searching vainly for Magna Carta, a quick visit to Westminster Hall and a nod at Cromwell's statue. Added to which there was the slight matter of being on the losing side in the process that gave birth to the USA......
